HRS Diabetes and Diagnostic Centre is a specialized Geriatrics Clinic in HSR Layout, Bangalore. Dr. Niran Uthaiah, an alumnus of the reputed Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences is the visiting general physician. He received his MBBS degree in the year 1997 and subsequently completed post-graduation training from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He was also awarded his Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine (GDFM) in the year 2009. The HSR Diagnostic Centre is the brainchild of Dr. Niran who started his medical practice as a medical officer with the Bangalore Hospital. Thereafter, he relocated to Singapore and joined the National Healthcare Group of Polyclinics (NHGP) in the year 2004. He also worked at the restricted Singapore Government Polyclinic and Primary Health Center and gained considerable experience in providing care to diabetics, family medicine, women’s health care and screening, and geriatric care. He also served as the Chief Medical Officer at the Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Hospitals, worked at the Diacon Hospital and Dianova Diabetes Centre in Bangalore. Recently, he was awarded the Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine by the NUS.
